Having been born and raised in the Kempton Valley of rural Pennsylvania, art and the environment have been strong constants throughout my life. In 2004, I recieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in Alfred, New York, where I studied metal sculpture, photography, and lighting design. Afterwards I spent time travelling to such places as Central America, West Africa, and the American Southwest. I have immersed myself in numerous cultures and traditions, and have been able to incorporate those experiences into both my work and my general outlook on the world.
I currently live and work in the suburbs of Philadelphia as a freelance photographer and web designer, and am working towards a Pennsylvania Instructional Teacher Certification for K-12 art from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA.
